We serve differently abled children

Asha Deep Rehabilitation Centre for the Handicapped, Digha, Patna is a Catholic Institution managed by Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross, North East Province. The Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross, imbued with the spirit of our founders charism of "compassionate love to all especially for the under privileged,” It was established in the year 1996. It runs classes up to Secondary Level for both boys and girls. We follow the syllabus of Bihar board and the medium of instruction is in Hindi.

The main aim of the centre is to empower handicapped through:

The school also aims at developing and empowering students with knowledge, values, experiences, attitudes and skills to face the examination of life. Therefore the school believes in fostering love, unity, respect and sensitivity to one and all irrespective of caste, status and sex, by creating awareness of social, political, economical and ecological realities. These are done by providing opportunities for children to develop and explore their skills and attitudes.
